That was a sale at City Center, they happen periodically. There are great deals all over town though. There's a shop in the same complex as "the Center", near KFC roundabout that I like, although I have forgotten the name.
Oh, one in City Center! Now I have to find Qatari friend.... It's more difficult than buying a carpet, though(?) I find difficult to get to know them. Especially,I'm a woman and don't speak Arabic.
Meeting Qataris is quite easy once you know one or two to start with. My wife could introduce you to a few people... e-mail her at my address.
