Yes, that's right, most Qatari thobes are longer. I hiked it up a bit for easier access for wudu, and so that I am less likely to trip on it!

My Viking ancestors used to have names like "Sven Forkbeard" and so forth, now I know why.
re the hem length, its fine that short anyways - its closer to the sunnah, right? :)
