Here is an example of traditional architecture. Note the stacked stones covered with stucco. The roof is wooden support beams built into the walls, covered with palm weave. This building is still in use.

Assalaamu alaikum,

I liked the fact that even the new buildings in Doha have traditional designs. Of course, they look new - not like this building - but they don't use all kind of weird faddish styles.
